Since 2002, when Mike Brodie was 15years old, he has covered more than 50,000 miles and visited 46 US states on over 170 different freight trains. His photography started in 2004 when Brodie found a Polaroid camera hidden behind a friend’s carseat. Once Polaroid film was discontinued, Brodie switched to 35mm film and these images are the result. You can see more from Mike’s compelling collection by purchasing his book A Period of Juvenile Prosperity which contains the series in its entirety or visit his site for more of these profound pictures.
